Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DocInvo, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use DocInvo.

Service Description

DocInvo is a free, browser-based commercial invoice generator. We provide tools to help you create commercial and pro forma invoices for international shipping. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Service Availability and Modification

DocInvo is provided free of charge and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service availability.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or change DocInvo's features, functionality, or interface at any time. As a free service, we may make changes to improve the service, address technical issues, or adjust to business needs.

Since DocInvo processes invoices entirely in your browser and does not store your data, any service interruptions or modifications will not affect invoices you have already generated and downloaded.

Age Requirement

DocInvo is not intended for children under the age of 13. By using DocInvo, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, you may not use DocInvo.

If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may use DocInvo only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Information Accuracy: Ensuring all information entered into DocInvo is accurate, complete, and truthful
  • Regulatory Compliance: Verifying that your invoices comply with applicable customs regulations, trade laws, and carrier requirements for your specific shipping destination
  • Invoice Verification: Reviewing and confirming that generated invoices meet all requirements before use
  • Consequences: Any consequences resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or non-compliant invoice information, including customs delays, penalties, or shipment holds
  • Data Security: Maintaining the security of invoices you generate, as DocInvo does not store your data

DocInvo is a tool to assist with invoice creation, but you are responsible for the final accuracy, compliance, and legal validity of your invoices.

Free Service and Advertising

DocInvo is free to use, supported by carefully placed advertisements through Google AdSense. These advertisements appear only on informational pages (help articles, blog posts, pricing information) and never appear in the invoice creation interface or generated PDFs.

By using DocInvo, you acknowledge that you may see advertisements on certain pages. You can use ad-blocking software if you prefer, and this will not affect DocInvo's core functionality.

No Warranty

DocInvo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

  • That DocInvo will meet your specific requirements or expectations
  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of generated invoices beyond the information you provide
  • That invoices will comply with all customs regulations or carrier requirements for your specific situation
  • Uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service
  • That defects will be corrected or that the service will be available at all times

You use DocInvo at your own risk. We recommend verifying all invoice information and compliance requirements independently before using generated invoices for shipping.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DocInvo and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Shipping delays, customs holds, penalties, or additional costs resulting from invoice errors, inaccuracies, or non-compliance
  • Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from service interruptions, modifications, or discontinuation
  • Any reliance on information or invoices generated through DocInvo

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use DocInvo for any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes
  • Create invoices containing false, misleading, or intentionally inaccurate information, including but not limited to incorrect product values, false descriptions, or fraudulent tax identifiers
  • Use DocInvo to generate invoices for goods or services that violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract DocInvo's source code or underlying technology
  • Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access DocInvo in a manner that could harm, overload, or disrupt the service
  • Impersonate others or provide false information when using DocInvo

Violation of these prohibitions may result in termination of your access to DocInvo and may subject you to legal consequences.

Intellectual Property

DocInvo's website, design, and software are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use DocInvo for its intended purpose (creating invoices) but may not copy, modify, or distribute the service or its components.

Generated invoices are your property. You retain all rights to invoices you create using DocInvo.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
